To view/edit a patient's tumor record:

1. Open the patient detail record for the patient in question. See Viewing/Editing a Patient Record for instructions on how to do this.

2. Make sure the Overview tab is selected.

3. Double-click on the tumor you want to view/edit in the Tumor grid. The Tumor Detail window will open displaying the details of the tumor record.

4. Make any necessary changes to the tumor record. For a description of the Tumor Detail window and the information presented on it, see The Tumor Detail Window. See also the end of this topic for links to instructions for performing specific editing tasks.

5. If you make changes to the tumor record, once you are done, Click the Save & Close button to save your changes. The window will close and the changes will be saved.

To close the window without saving any changes to the diagnosis record, click the Cancel button. If there are unsaved changes when you do this, a confirmation dialog will open asking you to confirm that you want to close the window without saving.. Click Yes to close the window and lose all unsaved changes made. Click No to keep the window open if you really want to save your changes.

At any point while editing, you can click the Save button to the left of the Save & Close button to save your work without closing the window. If there are changes which have been made on the window and have not been saved, the letters on the Save button will appear in bold red until you have saved those changes.
