To remove a patient from a study:

1. Open the Edit Study window for the study in question. Show me the Edit Study window. See Editing a Study for instructions on how to do this.

2. Make sure the Study Enrollments tab is selected on the window.

If the Study Enrollments tab does not appear in the Edit Study window, you do not have the appropriate security permissions to work with patient enrollment in the current study. You must have been assigned a Coordinator security roll with respect to the current study in order to access the Study Enrollments tab.

3. Click on the patient you want to remove from the current study in the grid on the Study Enrollments tab. The selected row will be highlighted in yellow.

4. Click on the — button above the grid. A dialog will open asking you to confirm that you really want to remove the study enrollment.

5. Click Yes to confirm that you want to remove the study enrollment. The dialog will close and the selected patient will be removed from the grid.

If you change your mind and decide that you really don't want to remove the patient from the study, click No and the dialog will close without any changes occurring in the database.
