To add an adverse event record to a chemotherapy medical event:

1. Open the Medical Event Detail window for the chemotherapy medical event in question. See Viewing/Editing a Medical Event for instructions on how to do this.

2. Select the Therapy tab.

3. Click on the + button above the Adverse Events grid on that tab.

The Add/Edit Adverse Event window will open.

4. Enter the information about the adverse event you are adding into the fields on the window.

5. Click the Save button to save the adverse event data. The Add Adverse Event window will close and the new adverse event will be added to the Adverse Events grid on the Medical Event Detail window.

To close the Add Adverse Event window without adding an adverse event to the medical event, click the Cancel button instead of the Save button. If you have entered any data on the window, a dialog will ask you to verify that you want to close the window without saving your work. Click Yes to clear the dialog and finish closing the window or No to return to the Add Adverse Event window and finish adding the data.

As soon as you start entering data on the Add Adverse Event window, the text on the Save button will turn bold red, indicating the need to click on the button to save your work.
