To add a checklist item to a standard of care profile:

1. Open the Standard of Care Profile window for the profile to which you want to add the checklist item. See Editing a Standard of Care Profile for instructions on how to do this.

2. Select the Checklist Items tab on that window.

3. Click on the + button above the Checklist Items grid on that tab. The Add New Checklist Item window will open.

4. Enter the text that should appear as the action item in the Checklist Action field on the Add New Checklist Item window.

5. Either select the appropriate heading under which the action will appear on the Patient Review Page in the Checklist Heading dropdown field or, if the appropriate heading does not exist yet, type a new heading in that field.

6. Click on the Save button to add the checklist item to the standard of care profile. The Add New Checklist Item window will close and the new checklist item will be added to the Checklist Items grid on the Standard of Care Profile window.

To close the Add New Checklist Item window without adding a checklist item to the standard of care profile, click the Cancel button instead of the Save button. If you have made any changes on the window, a dialog will open asking you to confirm that you want to close the window without saving your changes. Click Yes to continue to close the window or No to return to the Add New Checklist Item window.

As soon as you start entering data on the Add New Checklist Item window, the text on the Save button will turn bold red, indicating the need to click on the button to save your work.
