To remove a pathology report from a medical event record:

1. Open the Medical Event Detail window for the record in question. See Viewing/Editing a Medical Event for instructions on how to do this.

2. Make sure the Overview tab is selected.

3. Click on the pathology report that you want to remove in the Path Reports grid on that tab. The selected row will be highlighted in yellow.

4. Click on the — button above the grid. A dialog will open asking you to confirm that you want to delete the selected pathology report.

5. Click Yes to confirm that you want to remove the pathology report. The dialog will close and the selected row will be removed from the grid. If the selected pathology report record is also linked to another medical event record, or to a record in another application even, it will remain in the database. It will simply no longer be attached to the current medical event record.
