To add a standard of care profile to the current cancer group:

1. Start the Cancer Group Administration utility. See Starting the Cancer Group Administration Utility for instructions on how to do this.

2. Select the Standard of Care Profiles tab on the CCR Administration window.

3. Click on the + button above the Standard Of Care Profiles grid on that tab. Show me the Standard of Care Profiles grid. The Create New Standard of Care Profile window will open.

4. Fill in the information about the new standard of care profile on the Create New Standard of Care Profile window. For a description of the fields on this window, see The Create New Standard of Care Profile Window.

5. Click on the Save button to add the standard of care profile to the cancer group. The Create New Standard of Care Profile window will close, the new standard of care profile will be added to the Standard Of Care Profiles grid on the CCR Administration window and the Standard of Care Profile window will open so that you can continue to enter the rest of the details of the new standard of care profile. Doing this is essentially the same as editing an existing standard of care profile — see Editing a Standard of Care Profile and The Standard of Care Profile Window.

To close the Create New Standard of Care Profile window without adding a profile to the cancer group, click the Cancel button instead of the Save button. If you have made any changes on the window, a dialog will open asking you to confirm that you want to close the window without saving your changes. Click Yes to continue to close the window or No to return to the Create New Standard of Care Profile window.

As soon as you start entering data on the Create New Standard of Care Profile window, the text on the Save button will turn bold red, indicating the need to click on the button to save your work.
