Treatment protocols can also be added to a patient record from the CCR Patient Review page. See Viewing a Patient's Clinic Visit Patient Review Page, The CCR Patient Review Page and Adding a Treatment Protocol to a Patient Record From the CCR Patient Review Page for more information about adding a treatment protocol using this alternative method.

To add a treatment protocol to a patient record:

Open the patient detail record for the patient in question. See Viewing/Editing a Patient Record for instructions on how to do this.

Make sure the Overview tab is selected.

Click on the + button above the TX Protocol(s) grid on that tab. Show me the TX Protocol(s) grid. The Add Treatment Protocol window will open.

Click on the treatment protocol to be added to the patient record in the 1. Treatment Protocol grid on the Add Treatment Protocol window. The row selected will be highlighted in yellow.

If applicable, enter the date the patient began the treatment protocol in the 2. Start Date (optional) field.

Click on the Save button. The Add Treatment Protocol window will close and the selected treatment protocol will be added to the TX Protocol(s) grid on the patient detail window.

To close the Add Treatment Protocol window without adding a treatment protocol to the patient record, click on the Cancel button.
