To view/edit a diagnosis in a patient record:

1. Open the patient detail record for the patient in question. See Viewing/Editing a Patient Record for instructions on how to do this.

2. Make sure the Overview tab is selected.

3. Double-click on the diagnosis you want to view/edit in the Diagnosis grid. The Diagnosis Detail window will open displaying the details of the diagnosis record.

4. Make any necessary changes to the diagnosis record. For a description of the Diagnosis Detail window and the information presented on it, see The Diagnosis Detail Window.

5. If you make changes to the diagnosis record, Click the Save & Close button to save your changes. The window will close and the changes will be saved.

When there are any unsaved changes on the Diagnosis Detail window, the letters on the Save button turn red. Show me the Save button with red letters. To Save your work so far without closing the window, click on the Save button.

To close the window without saving any changes to the diagnosis record, click the Cancel button. If you have made any changes, a dialog will open asking you to confirm that you want to close the window without saving your changes.
