Generally, when dealing with reports based on any of HCI Informatics-developed databases, there are two kinds of reports. Standard reports are pre-formatted standardized reports that can be easily and automatically generated. These reports cannot be edited or altered, but they have been created because it is expected that these reports will be commonly used as a regular function of using the database — see Standard Reports.

iQ reports are reports which are not pre-formatted but which can be designed by CCR users to meet specific needs. They are generated using the iQ tool — see iQ reports. These reports, because they are not standardized can be altered as needed or created from scratch, allowing users with iQ security permission to generate reports based on the CCR data that presents the specific information that is needed in the format that is most useful to the user.
