Users must be cancer group administrators to perform cancer group administration tasks in CCR. If a user does not have have the proper security clearance, the Group Admin button will be grayed out. Users with Study Coordinator roles may perform administration features related to their specific study if they are signed into CCR with a session purpose of Research/Study for the specific study they are administering. However, to do so, they will need to access the Study Editor using the Study Admin button — see Study Administration.

To start the Cancer Group Administration utility:

Click on the Group Admin button in the application toolbar on the left side of the application desktop. The CCR Administration window will open — this may take a few seconds while your cancer group settings are loaded. See The CCR Administration Window for a description of the elements on this window as well as for links to instructions for the various tasks that can be performed using the Cancer Group Administration utility.
