You may only delete a consent type from a study if no patient enrollments for that study include a consent of that consent type. If consents of that consent type do exist in the database, you must delete them or change their consent type before you will be allow to remove the consent type in question from the Consent Types grid.

To remove a consent type from a study:

1. Open the Edit Study window for the study in question. See Editing a Study for instructions on how to do this.

2. Click on the consent type that you want to remove in the Consent Types grid on that window. The selected row will be highlighted in yellow.

3. Click on the — button above the grid. A dialog will open asking you to confirm that you really want to delete the consent type.

4. Click Yes to confirm that you want to delete the consent type. The dialog will close and the selected consent type will be removed from the Consent Types grid.

If you change your mind and decide that you really don't want to delete the selected consent type, click No and the dialog will close without any changes occurring in the database.
