The Event Types tab on the CCR Administration window is used to control the settings for the various kinds of medical events that are of interest to the current cancer group. Listed in the Event Types grid on this tab is the entire list of medical events that are to be tracked by the cancer group as part of the longitudinal view of the patient's history as displayed on the Medical Events tab of the patient detail window — see The Medical Events Tab (Patient Detail Window). Customization of these medical events (the additional of cancer group-specific tabs and fields beyond the basic medical events templates) are not handled here. Rather, they are performed using the Metabuilder tool, which essentially functions as a separate application — see The Metabuilder.
