It is very important that your workstation be protected with a screen saver that is controlled with a password. If itBioPath is running when away from your desk, sensitive patient data is at risk of being exposed to individuals who should not or do not have access to the data. Therefore, your workstation must be protected, at the very least, by a screensaver that can't be removed from the screen without your password. The screen saver should come up within 5 minutes of your last keystroke or mouse movement. If you are not sure if your screen saver is capable of being password-protected, please contact the HCI Huntsman Cancer Institute Help Desk by submitting a Service Request. Someone from the Computing and Technology Group (CATG) will contact you and be glad to look over the configuration of the workstation to make sure this important security feature is in place.
