itBioPath includes the ability to disburse and ship all the contents of a single box. After performing this action, the box will show up as empty in the freezer. It can now be used to begin adding new specimens to the box in the freezer. This process removes to need to add a new box to itBioPath. However, it may be necessary to add a new box when using itBioPath -see Adding a New Box to a Freezer or Adding a New Box to a Freezer from the Add Aliquot Window. (If the dimensions of the new box are different from the old one, it is a simple process to change the dimensions of a box in itBioPath — see Editing Box Details.) To disburse and ship an entire box of aliquots:

• Open the box detail window for the box where the specimen is stored. See Viewing the Contents of a Box in a Freezer for instructions.
• Click. The Batch Disbursement window will open with all of the aliquots stored in the box selected as the current batch.

• Continue with the batch disbursement and shipment as normal — see Batch Disbursement and Recording the Shipment of Specimens from a Batch Disbursement for instructions on how to do this.
