Once it has been Run, the results of an iQ query are displayed at the bottom of the current query. This essentially consists of a grid in which the results of the IQ query are displayed. The columns and rows displayed in the grid are determined entirely by the settings of the query. If the results of the query have been limited in some fashion because the selected columns include restricted data or because the query's selection criteria are based on restricted data, this fact is noted in red text at the bottom of the window. Additionally, some of the query details are displayed above the grid. The total number of records found by the query is listed to the left above the grid. There are several icons above the query to export the information to various formats.

You can resize the various columns by clicking and dragging the borders of the column headers. There is also a feature that allows you to specify the sort order of the query results.

Sort the query results by a specific Display column by clicking on the column header. To designate the hierarchy of sorting within the grid, begin by clicking the smaller box next to the column headers in the order you would like them sorted. To refresh the order click the name of the header you would like the query results sorted by.

The iQ tool is very powerful and flexible when assembling reports and displaying compiled information, but it will not help you to access or edit specific records. For that you should perform a search within the application.
