To set or change the experiment type(s) associated with a price sheet:

1. Start on the Price Sheet window for the charge item in question — see either Creating a New Price Sheet or Modifying an Existing Price Sheet for instructions that will get you to the Price Sheet window.

2. Add an experiment category that the price sheet will be associated with by clicking on the New experiment category button. A row will be added to the Experiment Category list and will appear highlighted in yellow.

3. Select the approriate experiment type in the drop-down field in the new row. You need to click on the row a couple of times to cause the drop-down values to appear for selection. (Note that you are not creating a new experiment category — this must be done previously by Research Informatics — you are merely associating the price sheet with an existing experiment category.)

The values that appear in the experiment category drop-down fields are the names of the different kinds of experiments that can be requested through GNomEx.

4. If additional experiment types apply, repeat steps 2 and 3 as needed until all of the necessary experiment types have been entered.

5. If experiment types need to be removed from the list (because they no longer should apply), select each experiment type to be removed by clicking on it.

6. Then, click the Remove experiment category button to remove the selected experiment category from the list.

7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 as needed until all criteria that should be removed have been removed.

8. Make any other changes to the price sheet record that need to be made.

9. Click Save in the lower right corner of the Price Sheet window to save the price sheet settings entered.
