Currently, sample sheets can be imported for a specific experiment. To aid in data curation, GNomEx has been enhanced so that sample annotations for multiple experiments can be imported in a bulk operation. (Note: This feature works for experiments generated outside of the core facility experiment ordering process and is designed for external sharing sites like CvDC.)

One file containing sample annotations (sample sheet) for many experiments is uploaded to GNomEx. Next, a preview window appears, giving a summary of the experiments that will be imported along with detailed warnings are errors. From here, experiments can be unchecked so that specific experiments can be bypassed. Also, warnings and errors can be reviewed in detail, allowing the administrator to easily correct and re-upload the file. When the import completes, a results window will show which experiments imported and identify any errors that occurred during the import.
