GNomEx has a new mechanism for associating experiment files to the each sample. (Note: This replaces the sample annotations called 'Associated Files' that used to accomplish this linking.)

To make this association, please follow these steps:

1. Click on the 'Manage Files' on the Files tab.

2. Click on the third tab called 'Link Samples'. Drag the fastq files (or any experiment data file) over to the appropriate sample. When paired-end files are dragged under a sample, they will appear in a folder, showing that these files correspond to the same sequencing run.

3. Press Save button.

4. From the Files tab, you will see the sample number associated with each file.

5. To find out which experiments are missing sample-to-file linkage, you can run the Annotation Progress Report.
