Deleting all the samples in the sample list on the Sample View tab allows you to start fresh, entering a brand new list of samples to be submitted. To delete all of the samples from the list of samples being submitted for microarray hybridization:

Start on the Sample View tab of the New Experiment Request module. This window is the part of the much longer step-by-step process of submitting a microarray hybridization request — see Submitting a Microarray Hybridization Request for a description of this process. This task will normally be performed as you are working on the Sample View tab within this process.

Click on the Clear All button above the Samples list.

A dialog will open asking if you are certain you want to remove all of the samples from the grid.

Click Yes to confirm that you want to delete all of the samples in the grid. The grid will be cleared of all of its sample records.

If you decide that you don't really want to delete all of the samples in the grid, click No. The dialog will close, and no changes will be made to the database.

After clearing the grid of samples, you'll probably want to add some new samples to the grid. See Adding a Sample to the List of Samples You Will Be Submitting for Microarray Hybridization for instructions on how to do this.
