This confirmation message may open when you start the application right after logging on if you are using Internet Explorer 7. Version 7 of the Internet Explorer browser has some additional safety features to protect your computer from online hackers, including this confirmation message which informs you of any attempt to close a browser window that was not the direct result of a user command to close the window. In order to initialize any applications produced by HCI Informatics correctly, a blank browser window opens temporarily before yet another window opens with the application running in it. This blank browser window is the one the confirmation message is referring to. Allowing the window to close will not affect the application or any other window you might have open on your computer in any adverse way. Click Yes to allow the window to close and continue to use the application.
