The query tools allow you aggregate your results by birth order. This provides information on the birth order of the individuals selected. There are two choices:
- Birth Order (Mother) — The source of this information is Utah birth certificates and it is based on the mother’s reproductive history, regardless on number of spouses. It currently covers birth certificates for individuals born from 1915-1921 and 1945 to present.
- Birth Order (Union — mother and father) — The source of this information is genealogy records and it is calculated for each marriage. The majority of individuals with this birth order will have been born from about 1800 through the mid-1970s.
