Welcome to the UPDBL Help system. These pages are designed to assist you with learning how to use and answer any questions you might have while using the Utah Population Database Limited (UPDBL) tool as well as giving a more complete description of the application itself.
The UPDBL provides summary data on a subset of data contained in a limited version of the Utah Population Database (UPDB).
This is a research resource at the University of Utah and can be used to provide preparatory information for research projects, such as selecting a cohort of individuals for analysis. The UPDB is a rich source of information for genetic, epidemiological, demographic, and public health studies and researchers have used this resource for over 30 years.
